How to read these figures

Filing counts come from DOL Labor Condition Application disclosures for healthcare occupations (SOC 29-x and 31-2x, certified, annual wage unit). The wage figure is the median prevailing wage across filings with annual wage floors from $20,000 to $1,000,000. The BLS reference is a filing-weighted mean of the latest national occupation medians, with means used where medians are absent. It covers only filings with a direct occupation-code match. The two figures can cover different subsets and years. Hospital linkage matches employer records to CMS cost-report provider numbers. Residents and fellows are tracked separately because their stipend scale is not a market wage.
