PERM Labor Certification

DOL OFLC · permanent labor certification (green-card sponsorship), the sister program to H-1B

An employer files a PERM application to sponsor a worker for a permanent job and a green card. DOL certifies or denies each application after the employer recruits U.S. workers and offers at least the prevailing wage. Each record on this page is one application and DOL's decision on it. It is not a visa, a confirmed hire, or evidence that the job started.
